REGISTER YOUR LLC IN CALIFORNIA
Preparation and filing of your Application to Register a Foreign Limited Liability Company in the State of CA (register your out of state LLC to do business in CA): $75 plus State fees.
Please note that CA requires a Certificate of Status (of Good Standing) from the originating state to accompany the filing of this Statement. The base fee of $75 does not include any fees that will be incurred to obtain the Certificate of Status. We can obtain the Certificate from the other state, or, if you have already obtained the Certificate, please email it to orders@ECSRegisteredAgent.com, or upload it to your account, so that we may submit it along with the registration filing.
Standard RUSH processing is highly recommended (hand delivery of document submission to the CA Secretary of State). The fee includes payment of additional filing fees to State for in-person filing, and expedites the State’s processing time. Currently Standard RUSH processing is taking about one week, the fee is $70 to cover the additional filing and processor fees.
Non-Rush processing does not carry additional fees, however, the current turnaround time is about three weeks.
24 Hour Expedited processing is an additional $420 (this fee includes the State’s $350 expedite fee, as well as the Standard Rush fee of $70, which is required since 24-expedited processing must be hand delivered per the State’s requirements). For 24-hour processing, we must submit the filings to CA in the morning to receive the filed document the next business day. Afternoon submissions will be processed the next business day. Weekends and holidays are not included in the 24-hour period, as the Secretary of State’s office is closed.
A Registered Agent is required to be named. The CA Registered Agent must have a physical address in California. You may use your own Registered Agent located in California, or select ECS Registered Agent to be your CA Corporate Registered Agent for $75/year. If you select this option, an additional $75 will be added to your order to cover the first year of service.
